Video Editor
Trickle up
Job Description
About Us
At Trickle Up we produce content that moves people — not just fills a feed. We work across performance marketing, brand storytelling, and client campaigns and we hold every piece of content we put out to a high standard. We are looking for someone who can do it all — capture it and cut it.
About the Role
This is not a one-dimensional role. You will be both behind the camera and behind the edit — planning and shooting professional video content and then taking that footage through the full post-production process to a polished final deliverable.
If you understand light, composition, and movement as much as you understand pacing, transitions, and colour — this role was made for you.
What You Will Do
- Plan, set up, and shoot professional video content including corporate videos, social media content, reels, testimonials, behind-the-scenes footage, and event coverage
- Operate cameras, lighting rigs, and audio equipment to capture broadcast-quality footage
- Edit and deliver final videos for YouTube, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and client presentations
- Cut raw footage into compelling, platform-native narratives aligned with brand voice
- Enhance every edit with motion graphics, sound design, subtitles, transitions, and branding elements
- Perform colour correction and colour grading to establish the right visual tone
- Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams from concept through to delivery
- Manage and organise video asset libraries, project files, and footage archives
- Stay ahead of video and content trends and bring fresh ideas back to the team
What We Are Looking For
- 2–3 years of proven experience in both video editing and videography
- Strong camera operation skills — confident with DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras
- Solid understanding of lighting setups — natural, studio, and on-location
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve or equivalent
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and creative editing techniques
- Knowledge of motion graphics, sound design, subtitles, and basic animation
- Familiarity with platform-specific formats, resolutions, and technical requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- A portfolio that demonstrates both your shooting and editing work
Nice to Have
- Experience with drone operation and aerial videography
- Knowledge of colour science and professional colour grading
- Familiarity with AI-assisted video tools such as Runway or CapCut
- Experience shooting and editing for paid advertising campaigns
- Basic audio recording and mixing knowledge
Why Join Us
- Work on real campaigns for UK and international clients
- Be part of a fast-moving creative team that values quality
- Grow your skills across both production and post-production
- Onsite environment with a collaborative and ambitious team
